Intuitive Eating: Listen to Body, When Food Calls

There are plenty of diet programs in food world. These programs give away abundant of knowledge about food. This creates a dilemma about what to eat and what to spare. Choosing between health and taste buds becomes a strenuous task. There are few celebrated diets like Paleo diet, vegan diet, low-carb diet, high-protein, grain-free diet, Atkins diet and some of the other diet plans that we keep hearing all day long. These celebrated diets narrow downs the choice between health and taste.

One must keep in mind that these diet plans does not work on everyone the same way. There are different people with distinctive food habits. Some people might compromise with taste for health and some people on the other hand will struggle between taste and health.

Things to remember

Humans are very diverse creature. Everyone is different from another. Every body’s need is different. Every human has different likes and dislikes. This makes clear one diet plan will not work for everyone. Metabolism, hormones, age and sex should be kept prioritize for making a diet plan. Usually, these parameters are not kept in mind while making a diet plan.

Protein consumption

Sometimes sticking to one kind food intake might prove to be harmful. For instance, vegan diet that excludes all types of meat and dairy products, and prolonged usage of this diet might cause protein deficiency. After difficult and challenging time, lives come on track and advise you to consume animal protein. Some people relish vegan diet, but is it a perfect diet?

 

Perfect food

Perfect food is the one which is right for your body. Always listen to your body. It tells you what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat. All you need to feed as per requirement.

Intuitive eating

From your experience you might have estimated that there are some pros and cons of following celebrated diets. Generally, these diet plans either have some nutrient in high amount and other in every low quantity.

Do not embrace shortcuts

Usually people opt for diet for weight gain or weight loss because they are in some sort of need or they need faster results. Do not be a sheep. Do not following any diet plan with blinded eyes. This may lead to unhealthy way of diet. You might get away from balanced and healthy diet. Easy results may lead to shortcuts.

Listen to your body not heart.

Some people say that they have listened to their body and are still unfit, whether overweight or underweight. Actually we do not listen to our body but heart. A proper balance diet is not that easy diet. It is not easy as losing or gaining weight as 3 to 4 kgs in a week. This is a process. It takes times to adapt. You will eventually understand the addition of wanted nutrition or subtraction of unwanted nutrients. We sometimes think we have all the nutrients but we should gradually take toxins out of the body.

 

How to keep metabolism steady?

If you are regularly take up processed food, sugar, trans-fatty acid, sodium or caffeine in your diet there might be a chance for imbalanced body.  Naturally, you have missed some crucial nutrients, if you are health conscious you need to know what sort of food you need to eat that is helpful in nourishment. This is the initiative taken on behalf of health and healthy living. Intuitive eating makes a healthy relationship with you and your body. All you need to detoxify your body once. All for once let’s take out those edible substances which are not beneficial to your body. Your body will eventually stabilize gradually. You metabolism will stabilize. Your digestion will get better. You will feel energetic; eventually you will get to know what your body needs.

No craving and no greed.

You might be thinking about the difference between craving and greediness. You need to understand, our need for food craving is increased by emotional and chemical reactions. Regularly sugar consumption is addictive. Do you know 80% of the processed food you consume contains high sugar level?

 

Do not make your body your enemy just for the sake of your desire.

We have all rights to choose our food for ourselves to inspire for healthy eating. When we take care of our body and give good quality, clean and wholesome grains. The body gives back energy, power, strength, and health.

Firstly, chew your food slowly, do not swallow. Relish your food and think about the fact about the pros and cons of the food you are eating.

Nutritious diet is a healthy diet.

Remember, the healthier, cleaner diet you will intake; easier it will be to listen to your body.  Your intuition will signal you and you will get to know. In this process your body will work on the highest level.

It’s not that late to change your habits. It’s a long way, but eventually the ball will be in your court. Your body will speak and you will listen, in the end you will cherish the results.
