6 Food Facts Everyone Should Know For Glowing Skin

Atmospheric pollutants, diet, stress and seasonal change can make skin dull and dry. You have to visit salons to get that glow which last for a week or so and after one to two weeks you needs to visit again. Sometimes we are fed up of going to salon sittings. To get the glow from within you need to check for your diet. Add some foods that will give you natural glowing skin.

 

Here are 6 foods that will help you to get beautiful and glowing skin naturally:-

1- Beetroot: – Do you know the reddish color of the beetroot can help you in achieving the gorgeous pink cheeks. In actual, antioxidants in our body help us in achieving glowing skin. So more you have antioxidants more will be the glow.

It is rich source of anthocyanins which is powerful antioxidants. If you consume beetroot your skin will be pink and this will also prevent appearance of wrinkles. Raw beetroot is difficult to digest so boil it, cut into slices and then consume it. You can also rub lemon on beetroot to utilize full benefits of it. If beetroot rubbed on lips, it will rub pink tint.

2- Indian gooseberry or Amla: – Gooseberry is also rich in antioxidants and vitamins that help to boost production of collagen. Drinking Amla juice everyday will help to keep your skin smooth and young and also prevent skin from ageing.

Amla is also a natural blood purifier. It also helps fighting skin woes like acne and pimples. It also fights the micro-organisms present in the skin and is effective in treating dark spots. This fruit also helps to tone and tighten your skin, and make it firm and soft.

3- Carrots: – Carrots are must to eat vegetable for your diet. It is very high in beta carotene which is converted by the body to vitamin A. It makes skin healthy, improves skin and makes it wrinkles free.

So add one carrot to your salad everyday or can drink carrot juice which is full of fiber. This is the great way to boost your skin beauty.

 

4- Lemon: – Lemons are antibacterial and very good for skin and health. It is very rich in vitamin C which is very good in treating Acnes. These are also very good in brightens and tightens your skin. Lemons keep scars, blackheads and acne at bay.

So add a dash of lemon juice to your salad or can squeeze it in glass of warm water and have it first in the morning.

 

5- Sweet Potato: – Sweet potato is anti-inflammatory in nature. It is very high in vitamin A which helps to fight acne causing bacteria. In it there is presence of vitamin C that helps to improve skin tone and also heals acne scars.

Eat it as evening snack. Boil the sweet potato and add salt and pepper and lemon juice to it. This gives lots of benefit when eaten with its skin. If beetroot skin is too shiny then it is good to peel of the skin and then eat it.

 

6- Tomato: – Tomatoes are good source of anti oxidants called lycopene. It has anti ageing properties. He best thing about tomatoes are that it acts as sunscreen from within. Generally, they are acidic in nature but their pulp helps in preventing pimples and tightening of skin pores.

Mostly in India tomatoes are used in puree form in lots of dishes but you can also eat it raw or apply its pulp or juice on your skin.
