MIRACULOUS ESSENTIAL OILS THAT CAN HELP IN RELIEVING JOINT PAIN

For instance, continuous desk job can hit your shoulder or neck and a long journey can give a stiff back; sports persons can feel discomfort in their wrist, elbow and specifically knees.

Pain can be diverse, but to get relief, one same effective method can be approached.  The pain and inflammation may still persist despite the use of medicines. Therefore, after considering all these factors, most of the people start looking for ayurvedic joint pain relief oils or herbal remedies which could relieve pain naturally without causing any side effect.

Our nature has wonderful herbs that can effectively work to keep you fit and fine with their powerful healing properties. So, if you are suffering from the joint pain, here we present you some beneficial essential oils that can excellently eliminate your joint problems.

To know about these essential oils for pain relief, read the following detailed information.

 #1. Rosemary Essential Oil 

Rosemary is the part of mint family. This essential oil contains antioxidants, which remove toxins from the body and also boosts immune system. Additionally, it also has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties so highly recommended to relieve pain.

It works as the best pain relieving oil while applied directly on the affected area or added to bathwater. Daily massage with is effective to reduce the discomforts in your joints.

#2.  Peppermint Essential Oil

The peppermint is the world’s oldest medicinal plant. It contains menthol, methyl esters, menthone, thus it is extremely helpful in relieving joint discomfort, aches, pains and inflammation.

The menthol content in the oil acts as a cooling agent so gives relief from inflammation in muscles and joints. To use it on your joints, mix its 2-3 drops with warmed coconut oil and apply on the painful body part.

The oil is quite powerful so, should be diluted with a carrier oil. Some of the people can be sensitive to it, so patch test is recommended before use.

#3.  Ginger Essential Oil 

This essential oil derived from the ginger rhizome, specifically grows in southern China and also some other parts of the world.  Ginger is recommended as efficacious joint pain relief oil contains zingibain – an ant-inflammatory that helps in reducing muscle and backaches, knee pain, inflammation and swelling. It also improves mobility and increases flexibility.

Studies shows that ginger essential oil is the most beneficial for the joint discomforts when diluted with the carrier oil and regularly massaged on the affected pain area. For more benefits, mix ginger essential oil with orange or lavender essential oils.

#4. Chamomile Essential Oil 

The essential oil is extracted from the flowers of the chamomile plant. It is not only used for preparing pain relieving products but also in some cosmetics.

Mainly chamomile is of two types: Roman and German, both provide the similar effects. It has also been found that regular massage with chamomile oil can break down uric acid deposits surrounding joints.

#5.  Clove Essential Oil

The clove essential oil has been used for centuries as an analgesic, extracted from dried flower bud of clove plant.  It also has anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties that make it excellently beneficial remedy to relieve joint pain in efficacious way.

Clove oil is also helpful in maintaining healthy circulation and stimulate metabolism. To get its benefits either add it to bath tub, massage on your painful joints or mixed with other carrier oils.

#6.  Cayenne Pepper Essential Oil

The oil is derived from the cayenne pepper and possesses exceptional analgesic properties. Cayenne pepper essential oil contains analgesic properties because of an active component known as capsaicin, mainly helpful in fighting inflammation.

This oil is a perfect choice to use in chilled winter season. You need to mix it with carrier oil before applying on any body part.

#7.  Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus oil does wonders when it comes to relieve joint pain and inflammation. Did you know topical forms of eucalyptus leaves are used for Arthritis pain? The leaves of plant contain tannin’s, which magically works to reduce pain and swelling caused by Arthritis.

Most of the pain relieving oils, gel, creams contain eucalyptus essence as gives immense pain relief effect.  But, before using it completely, little patch test for 24 hour is necessary. If there is no reaction or burning sensation, continue its use.

 

Being sedative it also calms the nervous system, thus helps reduce stress and promote sleep. Use it after mixing with carrier oil like olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil for more benefits.
