Custard Apple is a round heart-shaped fruit which has a sweet taste. The fruit is soft, flesh white in color and has a creamy texture. Custard apples are used as a dessert, nutritious snack and making shakes, smoothies and ice creams.  Besides making such delicious dishes it is also good to take care of your health. Custard apple is high in calorie content and also contains minerals like iron, phosphorous, calcium and riboflavin. The fruit is a perfect combination of protein, fiber, minerals, vitamins, energy and little fat.

In Ayurveda, it is mentioned one of the main elements that can be helpful to maintain good health. Not only the fruit but its leaves are also used for medicinal purposes.

Right Choice to Treat Diabetes :

The high content of fiber in custard apple can help to slow down the absorption of sugar and reduces the risk of diabetes. Vitamin C is the main factor that controls the sugar levels in the body. Furthermore, magnesium content in custard apple helps in the production of insulin and regulates the glucose.

And iron content can help your body fight against anemia and also controls diabetes.

For a healthy child, it’s necessary that mother is taking healthy diet during her pregnancy time. This essential fruit is helpful in the development of the brain, nervous system, and the immune system of a fetus.
